Restored Bathroom Cabinet

After having no bathroom cabinet forever, I was getting sick of not having my essentials at eye level. So I brought a second hand cabinet for $16NZD off the internet with a project in mind of doing it up somewhat!

Wooden stag head

How funky is this wooden stag head? I brought it for about $30. It is made of cardboard (the real ones freak me out a tad). I think it’s makes such a statement on the wall.

Vintage lanterns

We brought these from a second hand shop. I think they look really good in pairs or small clusters where they are different sizes and colors. I like the bright blue against the rusted lantern, and that they’re both on a white washed bookcase behind a white wall. You find little gems like these at vintage or second hand shops. We will be putting these in my sons pirate/nautical themed nursery once it’s all decorated!

Twist on glass cake dome

A twist on a glass cake dome, the books are from my parents book collection and the camera was brought in an antique stall in a market place. The glass domes are such a cool way to display a feature item or treasure in your home. It’s quick, effortless and makes a statement (well that’s what I think!)
